I     I hadn't ridden a horse in 20 years.  We went to the horse sale in Maysville, Ky just to look! Being the horse lover I am, it didn't take much encouragement from my brother-in-law to purchase an Appaloosa gelding that wasn't yet 2 years old!. 
     We purchased him form Michelle Manlief of Greensburg, IN.  She told me  at the time that she would train him if we needed someone.  We took her up on the offer and are very pleased with the results.

Michelle Manlief has taken care of and started a two/coming three year old horse for us.  I am impressed with her professionalism.  The facilities that she has allowed her to take excellent care of the hors and her knowledge of horses in general make her a greet choice for beginning a new prospect.  What we really like about Michelle is her honesty and work ethic.  She keeps accurate records and will even work with us and help us be better riders so that  the horses she trains will perform to the best of their ability.  She cares about the horses and the people she works with.  Choosing Michelle's facility and her as your trainer just makes sense.

Michelle has trained 3 horses for me for trail and pleasure riding.  The were "Broke To Ride" as 3 year olds.  She took them from there and challenged them on trails up and down hills, through water, opening and closing gates while remaining on the horse, exposing the horse to any thing they would encounter on a trail ride.  We are very pleased with the confidence level in all the horses when they approach a situation.  More importantly, Michelle taught them an endless amount of basics, addressing behavior and habit issues, communication between horse and rider, tolerance, patience, and much more.  Whatever the horse needs, Michelle will give her full attention.  She will receive the next horse I need trained.

Michelle has trained three 2 year old appaloosas for me and all have turned out to be excellent trail horses.  She is very dedicated to doing a good job and her training techniques are excellent with quick results.  Her boarding facilities are top notch and she makes sure horse are fed properly while staying there.  I would highly recommend her to anyone.
